Below are the details for those attending the music festival.
Dear Choir Members
Here are the details about the Hazel Grove Music Festival.
Address : Hazel Grove Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK7 4JQ
(Car sharing would be advisable because of the number of choirs attending)
Date of Festival : Saturday 2nd March
Number of choirs : 7 (The Gallery Choir is first on the list to sing)
Rehearsal Times : 12:50 - 1.20 (we must be on time as another choir will arrive to rehearse straight after us)
Commences : 2pm
Finishes : 5pm
Dress Code : Competition standard. Ladies black trousers/tops Men black trousers/black shirts
Accessories: Blue ties and flowers (on the day)
The choirs will be divided into two groups : 4 choirs will go into the hall for the first half of the programme.
After the break the 4 choirs will leave the hall and the other 3 choirs will arrive to complete the afternoon.
The 4 choirs will wait in the large hall upstairs until the final 3 choirs have finished where we will be able to hear them perform and we have been asked to be fairly quiet whilst they do.
Please let me know if you will be going to this event, at the moment we have:
3 sopranos, 0 Mezzo. 9 Altos, 2 Tenors and 4 Bass.
